INM researcher Mihails Birjukovs receives a DAAD scholarship
INM researcher Mihails Birjukovs was awarded a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) scholarship for a short-term visit to Dresden, Germany.
A fundamental study of magnetohydrodynamic bubble flow will continue in collaboration with Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), where Mihails has recently spent 2 months and then worked remotely. The visit will last from June 15 to December 15 (6 months) and the work will be carried out in cooperation with the HZDR Magnetohydrodynamics division. It is planned to use this opportunity to finalize the doctoral thesis by conducting the final series of experiments, processing the data obtained therein and previously, as well as publishing several articles related to the research covered in the thesis, developed methods, and obtained physical knowledge about the studied systems.
